FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the 4.0 GPA scale?+
The 4.0 scale is the most common GPA system used in the United States. An A earns 4.0 points, B earns 3.0, C earns 2.0, D earns 1.0, and F earns 0.0. Plus and minus modifiers add fractional points in between.
How is GPA calculated?+
GPA is calculated by multiplying each course's grade points by its credit hours to get quality points, adding all quality points together, then dividing by the total credit hours enrolled.
What is a good GPA?+
A GPA of 3.0 or above is generally considered good. A 3.5 or higher is excellent, and 3.7+ typically qualifies for Dean's List or Latin honors recognition at most colleges.
Is my data saved or shared?+
