How is a weighted grade calculated?+
A weighted grade is calculated by multiplying each assignment score by its weight percentage, summing those values, and dividing by the total of all weights.
Do my assignment weights need to add up to 100%?+
No. The calculator uses the actual sum of your weights as the denominator, so it works whether your weights total 100% or anything else.
What letter grade does my percentage equal?+
On the standard US scale, 90 to 100% is an A, 80 to 89% is a B, 70 to 79% is a C, 60 to 69% is a D, and below 60% is an F.
